Beyond the Hexagon: 2024 Christmas Drive That Sparked Something Bigger

This past December, Brixton Staffing hosted a Christmas Drive in the heart of Kansas City,

Kansas — and it was nothing short of powerful.
Partnering with local community leaders, we came together to organize a clothing and toy drive for families in need. From winter coats to wrapped gifts, the goal was simple: show up for our community in a meaningful way.
What started as a holiday initiative quickly turned into something much deeper. We set up in a neighborhood where need was high, but love was stronger. The turnout was overwhelming — families lined up with hope in their eyes, and the joy on the children’s faces when receiving toys was unforgettable. It was heartwarming… and at times, heartbreaking.

We met kids who had never received a Christmas gift before. Parents who broke down in tears just knowing someone cared. And volunteers who walked away with a fresh sense of purpose.
This drive reminded us why Beyond the Hexagon exists — it’s not just about staffing jobs; it’s about building community, giving back, and creating opportunities.
And honestly — it moved us. It sparked conversations within our team about how we could continue to show up for the community, not just during the holidays. While we haven’t taken any official steps yet, this event inspired us to consider supporting or starting a foundation in the future — something that could help open doors and provide resources for those who need a fresh start.
To everyone who volunteered, or helped spread the word — thank you. You helped us go beyond the hexagon, and closer to the heart of what truly matters.
